I am thrilled to share that I have been selected to participate in the 2023-2024 Precious Pearls Debutante Program, organized by the Boston Pearl Foundation, Incorporated, and the Psi Omega Chapter Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. This program aims to develop civic and cultural awareness, etiquette and social graces, financial literacy, health and fitness, higher education planning, and community service over six months. After completing the program, I will be honored for my achievements and presented to the Boston Society at a formal ball on June 1, 2024

About Me
Grade: 10th
School: Covenant Christian Academy in West Peabody School

Extracurricular Activities
I have been dancing for 14 years, starting out with Atlanta Ballet at age 2. I currently train five days a week in ballet, character, and contemporary with Boston Ballet where I have taken lessons for the last 12 years. I also play the piano and drums. Additionally, I am a member of my school’s club golf team and serve on the Admissions and Global Communities Councils.

Community Service:
For community service, I have volunteered with Boston Cares for their MLK Days of Service, Lazarus House Soup Kitchen, and with my school’s Family Volunteer Days. I regularly serve in the All People Church Nursery.

Anticipated College /Course of Study:
After graduating from high school, I plan to attend college to major in cultural anthropology and minor in a foreign language. I also plan to study commercial dance and music production.

Career Aspirations
Once I graduate from college, my aspirations are to become a cultural anthropologist, commercial dancer, and music producer. Eventually, I plan to transition into a role as a dance instructor.

What do you like to do for fun?
For fun, I enjoy reading, studying choreography, listening to and producing/recording music, learning foreign languages, traveling, watching movies, and spending quality time with family and friends.
