I am thrilled to share that I have been selected to participate in the 2023-2024 Precious Pearls Debutante Program, organized by the Boston Pearl Foundation, Incorporated, and the Psi Omega Chapter Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. This program aims to develop civic and cultural awareness, etiquette and social graces, financial literacy, health and fitness, higher education planning, and community service over six months. After completing the program, I will be honored for my achievements and presented to the Boston Society at a formal ball on June 1, 2024

About Me
Grade: 10th
School: Walpole High School

Extracurricular Activities
I am a member of my school’s track team, where I specialize in the long jump and the 55-meter dash. Being on the track team has helped me learn discipline, teamwork, and confidence while pushing myself to do my best.

Community Service:
I completed a year-long community service program with Project 350. I also help with childcare for Morning Star Christian Church’s Marriage Ministry and volunteer for different school activities to support my community.
​
Anticipated College /Course of Study:
After high school, I plan to attend college and am interested in going to a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) so I can grow academically and be part of a strong and supportive community.

Career Aspirations
I am still figuring out what I want to do in the future, but I am excited to explore different career options and find something that I enjoy and am good at.

Favorite Quote/Scripture/ Author:
One of my favorite authors is Jenny Han, who wrote To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and The Summer I Turned Pretty. I enjoy reading stories about friendships, relationships, and growing up.

What do you like to do for fun?
In my free time, I like to spend time with my friends and family. I also love hanging out with my rescue dog, Kel, who always makes me smile.
